In this workshop we will examine how we might be using the muscles of the vocal tract differently to communicate through video conference than we would face-to-face. We'll explore ways to prepare for teaching, working, and socializing online, with specific attention paid to the spine, neck, larynx, jaw, and tongue, and we'll identify or re-root ourselves in technique to maintain vocal health and practice self-care over the course of the Zoom day.
What to bring: mat, zafu, and water.
How Much: Advanced Training Workshops are using a sliding scale fee. Pay only as much as you are able. You can drop in for individual workshops or join us for all three! Below is our payment recommendations.

En este taller examinaremos si estamos usando los músculos del tracto vocal de manera diferente, para comunicarnos a través de una videoconferencia de lo que lo haríamos cara a cara. Exploraremos formas de prepararnos para enseñar, trabajar y socializar en línea, prestando especial atención a la columna vertebral, el cuello, la laringe, la mandíbula y la lengua; nos identificaremos o volveremos a enraizarnos en la técnica para mantener nuestra salud vocal y practicar el cuidado personal durante el transcurso del día de Zoom.
