Teacher Certification
The Fitzmaurice Voice Institute offers an intensive two-year Voice Teacher Certification Program in Fitzmaurice Voicework®. Participants include voice teachers and people with a wide range of other backgrounds and interests. Prerequisites
Certification participants already have a strong foundation in Fitzmaurice Voicework—as embodiment is vital in the teaching of this work. The base requirement for consideration for acceptance into certification training is 60 hours of study. We highly recommend attending 5-day in-person workshops as the structure and intensity will give a sense of the rigors and depth of certification training.
Other opportunities for exploration include:
FV Fundamentals (online explorations of destructuring and restructuring)
Other FVI workshops / events
Other workshops / events with FV teachers
Group classes / individual study with FV teacher
Priority for acceptance is given to those who already have a teaching or coaching practice of some kind. This does not necessarily need to be in the area of voice.
