Mariona Esplugues holds a Distinction of Honor of all the subjects of the two final grades of High School. She is in the third year of a BA in Pedagogy in Universitat de Barcelona and in the third year of a BA in Musical theatre in Eòlia Escola Superior d’Art Dramàtic. She has also studied acting, singing and dancing since she was six. She has been in many schools such as New York Film Academy, held at Harvard, and other schools from Barcelona, being the lead character for many plays performed there. That has given her the opportunity to be a professional actress. When she was ten years old she was cast in the musical “Pippi Longstocking” in Teatre Poliorama of Barcelona. She has also participated in a TV show called “Club Súper 3”, dancing and singing. And she has been part of the “Big Monday” concert in Teatre Poliorama, directed by Master Teacher, Joey Bates. In terms of teaching, she has given private Fitzmaurice Voicework classes. And also, she has been the translator and assistant for classes with Master Teacher, Joey Bates, who is also her singing teacher. Besides Fitzmaurice, she has also been trained to be a For Prove Theatre teacher (an innovative method very related to the Oppressed Theatre), a technique in which she has given classes to different schools in Barcelona.
