Kelly Parker teaches acting, voice, and movement at McLennan Community College. In addition to his teaching duties, Kelly directs multiple theatrical productions each season while serving as the coordinator for the Department of Theatre. He studied the Meisner acting technique with Larry Silverberg and is a certified teacher through the True Acting Institute. Kelly, a registered Advanced Actor Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors, engages in stage combat workshops and choreography throughout his home state of Texas. Kelly is the co-founder and director of the outdoor theatrical event “Shakespeare on the Rock” featured each summer at the Tablerock Amphitheater in Salado, TX. He is a 200-hour Registered Viniyoga Teacher; a member of TETA, SAFD, BASSC, VASTA, LMDA and Yoga Alliance.
