Elisa Gonzales is an actress, writer, and dialect specialist/coach. She has over 20 years experience working in theatre, with credits at the New York International Fringe Festival, the Nuyorican Poets Cafe, San Diego Repertory Theatre, Commonwealth Shakespeare Company and the La Jolla Playhouse. Elisa currently teaches acting, voice, speech and dialects at UMass Amherst, where she is the Assistant Professor of Voice and Acting. Elisa is a certified teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework, and a certified teacher of Knight-Thompson Speechwork. Elisa is a member of VASTA, ATHE, and Actors' Equity Association.
