Dan Evers is an Assistant Professor and Director of Theatre at Mount Aloysius College. Originally from Texas, Dan relocated to Southern California in 2004 to pursue an MFA in Theatre at California State University, Fullerton. After completing the intensive three-year program, he built a diverse career as an adjunct professor, director, dialect coach, and actor.
His journey then led him to New York City, where he became a proud member of Actor's Equity, performing in numerous Off-Broadway, Off-Off-Broadway productions, and a national tour. While in New York, Dan's passion for theatre expanded into Drama Therapy, prompting him to earn an MST in Special Education from Pace University.
In the Bronx, he taught drama to special education students with severe emotional and behavioral challenges, using theatre to develop their emotional literacy and empathy.
