Verena Welser studied classical guitar and classical singing at Vienna Music University. She then extended her voice studies in many different genres and cultures (Tyrolean folk music, Wiener lied, French chanson, Haitian ceremonial music, Indian spiritual music, Greek laments, and Tuvan folk and ceremonial music). She is also a consultant and course instructor in Montessori Education, and a long-term yoga practitioner and student. Since 2017, Verena also works as a psychotherapist (pursuing certification) in a body-centered therapy method called “Concentrative Movement Therapy.” She has taught Voice in Boston, Massachusetts, USA; Vienna and Innsbruck, Austria; Munich, Germany; Zurich, Switzerland; and Auroville, India.
