Sarah Jessop is a singer and vocal coach who specializes in helping her clients rediscover their embodied voice and power. She maintains a Boston-based coaching practice and teaches internationally. Sarah is the former Associate Director for Engagement and Communication at Harvard's Bok Center for Teaching and Learning, where she trained faculty to access their teaching passion through the physical voice. Sarah has taught graduate level courses in voice, speech, and Shakespeare at the American Repertory Theater and the Moscow Art Theater (MXAT), and worked with award-winning directors John Tiffany (Once, The Musical), Sarah Benson (Ajax), and Marcus Stern. She was last on stage at the Paradise Rock Club with Buffalo Tom. Sarah has an MFA in Voice Pedagogy from the American Repertory Theater / Moscow Art Theater School, and a BA in English from Harvard. She loves the play of contact improvisation, the ingenuity of small house design, and the conifer path at Arnold Arboretum. She lives in Jamaica Plain.
