Robin Gordon teaches performance, directing, and dramatic literature courses and serves as director of the drama program at Warner Pacific College. Recent productions include Romeo and Juliet; Disaster/Relief, a devised theatre project; Almost, Maine, and Sophocles’s Antigone in a version by Bertolt Brecht. Previous directing, devising, and choreography projects include Three Sisters, Godspell, Oleanna, Journeys, I phel o a (I fell away), and The Yellow Wallpaper. Prior to returning home to Portland Oregon, Robin was Artistic Associate for the Contemporary American Theatre Company (CATCO) in Columbus, Ohio, where she coached and performed in numerous productions (performances include Sarah in Seascape, Maggie Pollitt in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and Elena Andreyevna in Uncle Vanya). Previous teaching posts include Bowling Green State University, University of Toledo, Otterbein College, and Kenyon College. Courses taught include Acting, Voice and Speech, Ensemble and Composition, Introduction to Drama, Shakespeare, 17th & 18th Century Dramatic Literature, Cultural Diversity in Performance, The City and the Arts, and Performing Portland.
