Phil is a Chicago-based performer and voice trainer. He has taught actors for over 20 years, most recently as the Head of Voice and Speech at The Theatre School, DePaul University. Phil is among a handful of voice trainers to hold a Roy Hart Theatre Voice Teacher Diploma.

Phil is an ensemble member of Lifeline Theatre in Chicago where he has received three Joseph Jefferson Nominations (Non-Equity) for Best Supporting Actor (Pride & Prejudice, Busman's Honeymoon, and Queen Lucia). He is a member of SAG-AFTRA and served on the Board of Directors of VASTA.
