Kathryn L. Johnston is an Assistant Professor specializing in Voice, Speech, and Accents at Florida Atlantic University. Her directing credits include Equus, The Importance of Being Earnest, Two Rooms, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Agnes of God, The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, and The Children’s Hour. A working professional actress, Kathryn has appeared in productions in New York, Washington D.C, and South Florida including several roles in FAU’s Festival Rep. programs. She is a Certified Teacher of Knight-Thompson Speechwork and is certified as an Associate Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework. Johnston has served as vocal/dialect coach for many FAU productions as well as professional productions at Theatre Lab, Island City Stage, West Boca Theatre Company, Caldwell Theatre, Mosaic Theatre, Naked Stage and M&M Productions. She is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, AEA, and VASTA.
