Heather trained in Fitzmaurice Voicework as an actor at Yale School of Drama (MFA 2003), where she was first introduced to the work with a special visit by Catherine Fitzmaurice. There Heather trained in De-Structuring with Head of Voice, Walton Wilson and Re-Structuring with Grace Zandarsky; and over 1,000 hours of Alexander work with Jessica Wolf. Heather earned Certification as Associate Teacher of FV (2012) in NYC, studying directly under Catherine and Master Teacher / Director of the FV Institute Saul Kotzubei, along with Master Teachers Ilsa Pfeiffer, Michael Morgan, and Jeff Morrison. She was deeply honored to have Saul as her assigned teaching mentor for several years and to attend as guest observer to Saul’s and Catherine’s inspired teaching at the teacher certification program in London (2014). Heather had the great honor of teaching alongside Catherine at the FV Teacher Certification Program (NYC, 2014) - where she developed “Embodying Text.” Ms. Anderson Boll has taught this breath/body/spirit/voice work to over 100 actors-in-training over the past ten years while serving on faculty at Oberlin College and Case Western Reserve University, offering special master classes for the Cleveland Play House Acting MFA program and private coaching for individuals. Heather holds an MS in CMHC specializing in social justice.  She sees clients in person and virtually from her solo private practice, Integrated Somatic Healing Arts & Psychotherapy- specializing in embodied approaches to healing trauma, marginalized stress, and PTSD.  For more information on Heather’s work please visit: www.heatherandersonboll.com
