Daydrie Hague (AEA, SAG-AFTRA) has worked Off Broadway and in regional/ repertory theatres in the U.S. and England, including the Alley Theatre, New Dramatists, The Vineyard Lab Theatre, The George St. Playhouse, Repertory Theatre of St Louis, and Alan Ayckbourn’s Stephen Joseph Theatre in the Round. She is Professor of Theatre and Head of Performance at Auburn University, where she teaches acting and voice, directs, and serves as dialect coach for many of the department’s productions. Hague is an Associate Teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework, Associate Editor for IDEA, and has been theatre consultant to the National Science Foundation Advance Program. She serves a small private clientele of broadcasters, actors, and transgendered persons. Recent articles include “The Human Voice: Celebrating Diversity and Creating Community,” International Journal of Diversity in Organizations, Communities and Nations, “Lift Every Voice, Vocal Performance and Civic Engagement,” “Evaluating Stress Reduction Techniques and Fitzmaurice Voicework® as a Template for Reducing Performance Anxiety and Enhancing Focus in Student Actors” for Voice and Speech Review, and “Mentoring Pathways- Strategies to Facilitate the Advancement of Women Faculty,” American Chemical Society Symposium Series.
