Cynthia Barrett has served as Head of Voice and Speech for the professional actor training program at the University of North Carolina-Greensboro, and the department of Dance and Theatre at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte. She's also been a visiting faculty member specializing in voice at Emory University, University of California-Davis, University of Illinois, Kennesaw State, and University of North Georgia. Cynthia currently teaches privately and coaches for TV/Film productions and theatre in Atlanta. As an actor she has performed internationally in over 100 plays and most recently appeared in the films Insurgent and 90 Minutes in Heaven, on television in Stranger Things, Vice Principals, Resurrection, and Homeland. She is a member of VASTA, AEA, SAG-AFTRA.
