Anne Schilling teaches in the MFA and BFA performance programs. Anne has also taught for California State University-Long Beach, Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music and Ohio University, and in the UK at Guildford School of Acting and Guildford College, in addition to coaching numerous professional productions in Southern California, Ohio, and the UK. As a member of AEA, she has worked as a professional actor in theatres from Seattle to New York, particularly with Shakespeare companies. She is also a member of the Voice and Speech Trainers Association and is currently serving on the Board of Directors. Articles written include "An Introduction to Coaching Ritualized Lamentation" in 2007, "Bringing Lamentation to the Stage" in 2009, and "The Search for Irish Keening in the 21st Century" in 2011 for the Voice and Speech Review. Lamentation continues to be the focus of her research and workshops.
