Anna Estrada is an actress, director and teacher. She has been teaching for over 25 years at the IT in Barcelona and in several schools in Spain like Eolia, Moveo, or the Associació d’Actors i Directors de Catalunya. Has taught the students from the Rose Bruford College, was invited to teach at the Arts Academy in Turku (Finland), the Central Academy of Drama in Beijing, or has worked in San Miniato (Italy) for the summer school. In 2017 taught voice at CalStateLA for a semester and was invited to direct a play.Catherine Fitzmaurice invited Anna to teach with her at the Shangai Theatre Academy or at the Fitzmaurice Certification Teachers in Barcelona where she was the host. Anna co- directed the First International Fitzmaurice Conference, gave workshops at the Freedom and Focus Conferences in Vancouver and Bogota and was invited to be part of the work on diversity and inclusion in Los Angeles with Catherine Fitzmaurice and the Master Teachers.Anna has worked as an actress with Irene Pappas and Núria Espert in Medea in the Greek Theater Festival of Barcelona; was directed by Pavel Khomsky, director of the Mossovet Theatre Company, in the lead female role in The White Guard. She played Electra in Mourning Becomes Electra at the Teatre Lliure. As a director her The Winter’sTale opened the season of Sala Beckett in Barcelona; she won an Institut del Teatre prize to perform Potser Somniar (Perchance to Dream). She has recently directed Julius Cesar with a women cast, Fuenteovejuna, ‘Tis pity she’s a whore, or Trojan Women.
She has a BA in Acting from the Institut del Teatre and a MA from LAMDA in London.

Ha enseñado y dirigido en España, Finlandia, China, Inglaterra, Italia y USA. Master of Arts del LAMDA de Londres. Ha dirigido Cuento de Invierno, Julio Cesar y Fuenteovejuna entre otras.
